a dilettante: acoustic, electric, alternative rock, subliminal, political, mindless schlock, underground, hate, love suicide, republican, debate, my inner child
Formed spontaneously in 1995 with the composition of the now classic "Hall's Way." Throughout the years, the band has produced such diverse cult hits as "J.C. (Jesus Commercialization)" and "Grey Idol" but the level of relative crappiness has remained the same. Come for the teen angst ("Garage Number 74"), stay for the heavy-handed political messages ("Jenna").

Lyrics
Not long after New York exploded You signed up to serve the motives of a corporate failure in his daddy's place Searching for terror, we found a disgrace It seemed good for you and good for the nation Serving your country, get an education Signing your name on the line to say That those who attacked us had to pay Welcome to your life as an American soldier Shave your head, shave your face, give in to control And after basic, head South for a specialty So when you leave to hunt Bin Laden you will be ready Every day you think of home And the friends you left, at night alone But you're confident that your choice was right And confident the cause is worth the fight All around you the camp is rife With others getting used to the Army life But while you form a unit to take a stand You find that there's been a major change of plan What can you do as an American soldier When those in charge pull a bait and switch with war Though you wonder if you're fighting under false pretenses You trust that our leaders weren't blind and senseless You're told that weapons of mass destruction Are the reason we staged an Iraqi abduction But when you find nothing day after day You start to wonder if we were lead astray Living in the desert sleeping on the ground You see those you know killed all around For freedom you'd give all you have to give But what good is freedom if you're not free to live? This is how we treat our American soldiers If they survive the first attack we send them for more and Make sure we meet our political goals You can't attack our leaders while the war machine rolls This is how we treat our American soldiers This is how we treat our American soldiers If this is how we treat our American soldiers I wouldn't want to be the one we're at war with Americans bleed while our leaders lead us astray... I'm in fear of four more years...
