Hey all.. The name is Jacob and you're currently reading the introduction to my little spot here on SoundClick. Here you can listen to all my music and I certainly hope you'll enjoy all of it - as my prime goal is to please my listeners. Music is my hobby, my desire, my dream, my life.. I've spent countless hours making all the music here on this page - but this is only a small fraction of what I've made through the past many years. I am a self-taught musician and have never had a teacher to tell me to do x or y. You can also hear that in my music - as sometimes I 'lack' the disciplin a theoretical student would have. But I think it's a good thing - 'cause you are more free to do exactly what your heart desire. After all.. Isn't music all about heart?

Story behind the song
Originally it was supossed to be a symphonic piece, but as I continued to add more to the tune, it ended up becoming a rock tune. I've defined it as power metal however, mainly due to the vocal pitching. Credit goes to: Jude Law - Help on lyrics Kevin Rosenberger - Was originally supossed to sing, but I decided to use his vocal work for inspiration to do my own. Hi Jacob, Awesome epic song, great production. Vocals superb sung with passion and all instruments right on spot, from the classic strings intro to power metal epic ending. Great drum pattern. Congrats.

love the theatrical intro, and the drum/guitar duet :) Excellent lyrics & 5 star vocal work, you really get the emotion working. really nice strings & piano work too KILLER guitar solo :)

Love this tune. You have really digged it :) this time. I must admit that you've really overdid yourself on the vocal. That's an awesome performance !!!! My only question is... How many meals did you have to invite your neighbour into after recording the vocals ? Thanks for letting me play along on this one. GREAT work all around !!!
