Story behind the song
After the devastating fire at the sea-side fun-fair, it was always a possibility that it would never re-open again. The bad luck only seems to continue for this once thriving little town. An atmospheric guitar instrumental that hopefully reflects the sad but inevitable closure of the sea-side fun-fair and the further decline. A 'Blues' for a town ... for lots of towns I guess.

This is very petic and lyrical. I just saw an interview with John Mayer, where he says that he likes Eric Clapton, because he plays so lyrically. This piece has that very lyrical and longing feeling. Wonderful playing!

Lovely melodic song. I like the way it conveys melancholy feelings interspersed with glipses into the past & when times were better. From what I've seen when revisiting places I knew as a child, this story is true of so many towns.
