Story behind the song
The fourth in a series of covers of songs that I like. This is a cover of a favorite song of mine by the Soul/Blues man Robert Ward. Drums are Beta Monkey drum loops, arranged and cut 'n paste by me. Instruments used is a Stratocaster with Lace Hot Golds, A Squier Jazz Bass with Fender Hot Noiseless pups, a Roland JV-1010 module with a Roland Master keyboard and a Lee Oskar Harmonica. Ahhh, Ya gotta love that funky Swedish blue eyed soul. I loved the vox, The mix was dead on. Perfect separation. Way to lay it down............... I just listened to this one again, and got to hand it to you G' This is just awesome.. the definition between instruments + the simple quality of the the individual instruments + the great playing, is just super. Not to mention , it's a great tune too....
